Sat 4th of June 2016 – Wicken Fen Jupiter

For my recent birthday I was booked a trip to Wicken Fen since that's supposedly a great stargazing spot and I've always had a thing for stars because they're so far and big and bright and incomprehensible. 

So about half an hour ago I was out in the dark by myself with my camera and tripod and see here the result. Top left you can see a barely visible white spot. That's Jupiter and the red glow below is Cambridge. Awesomeness!
