Sat 16th of March 2013 – Man In Belgian Train

About a month ago I was in a train passing through Belgium when this man sat opposite me with some friends. The light was nice and I just had to ask if I could take a portrait. While pointing a large camera at him, I also turned red I think and passed him one of my cards, which by luck of the draw happened to be the one with flowers on it. He agreed to the photo, but didn't say much else, nor did his friends. It was all a bit awkward, but I did get the portrait, ha!

 

As for this weekend. Yesterday I spent most of the day on a 'First Aid for babies and kids' course, organised by the British Red Cross. Last night and today I've spent too many hours staring at pictures of some footballers shot in a studio and then placed in the wild world in photoshop, trying to make it look real...
