Mon 21st of March 2011 – Big Moon

Perhaps not the most photographically interesting image ever. But I did take the picture myself, through my bedroom window in a farmhouse in a village near Amersfoort called Stoutenburg.

As a kid I found it fascinating that you can actually see the craters and I still do. It makes that round lump of stone a bit less abstract and more imaginable.
