Wed 27th of April 2016 – Ode to Italy

I just had lunch with my old friend Giulio and his wife Keiko who sadly left London for the good life in Siena two years ago. I was give wonderful chocolates and this beautiful photograph. Giulio found it in the house of his late grandmother. He doesn't recognise anyone in the image but on the back it says 'September '86' and to both of us this image signifies the kind of photography I love and Italy.

On top of this I'm flying to Bologna tomorrow for a short holiday in Italy and I cannot wait until I'm there, for the food, the people, I love Italy.
